How a hard-difficulty dragon goes from first sketch to a print-ready download. In this post we walk through it in plain language, with ideas you can try on your own printer.
The idea
Every model starts as a rough idea. The maker sketches shapes, tests proportions and decides what makes the model special before opening any software.
The process
From there it is a loop of modelling, test prints and small fixes until the model prints cleanly and still looks great on the shelf.
Advice for new makers
Finish small models first. Every finished print teaches more than an unfinished big one.
Share your work early, listen to feedback and keep a folder of your best test prints.
